More Political Rantings... Read at your own risk

I don't normally write on LJ this much, but what the hell. I'm feeling more than a tad political. The subject of this entry will be how I'm pissed off at the president. (even though I still like him) But please do not think I would have voted for anyone else. I still love Cheney unconditionally, he's my homeboy.

Case in point: Gas prices are freaking ridiculous! Who can say this economy is doing so great when it is damn close to costing $3 a gallon for gas. Please, I'm not a Wall Street broker, but I think this one is pretty clear. If this administration was so corrupt as everyone says it is, than getting gas prices lowered would be a snap. I mean everyone has seen the pictures of Bush holding the Saudi prince's hand! If Cheney were president, he would not have held his hand and would have slapped it saying "Bitch, give me more oil!" And he would have done it. (I don't think I have to go into who the nationalities of most of the 9-11 hijackers were). Gas is too damn expensive for us to go into economic prosperity, I'm not an economist, but that I can figure out!

Second Case in Point: The War in Iraq. It is becoming unpopular, but no one is asking why. Conservatives who know the war was necessary are agreeing the war is being handled wrong. If this really is a war than it should be handled like a war and we should have toasted all the insurgents in the beginning instead of walking around public opinion. Were there cameras on site filming 24/7 the action in WWII? Maybe that war would have been unpopular too if the army was pandering to the network news and not to the war. If we are ever going to win this war, we need to show the insurgents we are not the pansy Americans they think we are. We are not going to blow ourselves up for 67 virgins, but we are willing to die for freedom.

Third Case: We need to secure the boarder: Then again, how can we hope to secure the boarder between Iraq and Syria (where these insurgents are bleeding out of there like a hemorrhage) when we cannot stop illegals from coming over our boarders. This country needs to stop the flood of illegal aliens in this country if we can ever hope to stop terrorists from killing us again. I don't buy the argument illegals are doing the jobs Americans don't want to do. If you give people a living wage, they'll clean your house and mow your lawn. They really do need to raise the minimum wadge, but I guess that's another rant.

Fourth Case: The 9-11 Commission was a JOKE: Anyone who has not been living under a rock for the past week knows a four man cell of terrorists could have been caught before 9-11. This commission was set up to save the Clinton Administration's ass and the Bush Administration's ass. Clearly, these people are being paid not to serve the American people, but to ingratiate themselves to their prospective political parties.

I love president Bush, but I think he is failing us in these areas. Especially the war in Iraq. We need to kill the insurgents and that's all there is too it. Wow! I'm so militant today.

Like I said, this was a read at your own risk post. If it makes you mad, I'm sorry, but I'm mad. We deserve better in this country than hearing everyday how 15 or so servicemen are dying everyday. It could be my cousin or your brother and they deserve better than to be shot like fish in a barrel.

Anyone who knows what the Army Corp. of Engineers can comment on this. (That's a joke for Jeff)

I still love elephants and all of you :)

Gas prices = a big suck that could potentially be fixed, I blame Bush for high gas prices...

As far as the war goes,,,,Im sick of the media and their coverage on it, they call it the War on Iraq, yet we are in 2 other countries over there besides Iraq. Although Im annoyed that we have taken our focus off of Osama Bin Laden to help make a constitution in Iraq. However, Tyler said it best along time ago, no matter how many of the top al queda guys we get, there will just be more that rise out of the ground.

Im sick of the parents who totally downgrade it yet when you talk to their kids who are over there, they want to be there.I dunno, I think that mother staking out Crawford Ranch is being totally ridiculous. Sure its sad that she lost her son, but a lot of parents sons and daughters have been lost. Furthermore, being that we've been there for 3 years and have only lost 1880 troops, thats not nearly as bad as it could be.I like to remind them of Vietnam and WWII where we lost 50 times more than that. I dunno, maybe im just a heartless bitch...
My solution,,,Clear out our troops and our allies and give me the little red button and I'll push it! :)

Or maybe we could have another Hiroshima lol I think that would be fantastic!
